Terms of Service for Voli App

1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Voli. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Kutaisi City Hall ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Voli mobile application ("App").

    • By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By creating an account, you confirm you are 13 or older. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has given permission for you to use the App.

    The App is intended for users located in Georgia. Core features such as events and vouchers are only available in the Kutaisi region.

    3. Description of Service

    Voli is a community volunteer and civic engagement platform for the city of Kutaisi. It provides:

  • Event Discovery — browse volunteer and community events

  • Event Registration — sign up for and participate in events

  • Map View — see event locations on Google Maps

  • Volunteer Tracking — track participation and earned hours

  • Points and Achievements — earn points and badges for completing volunteer activities

  • Voucher Redemption — exchange points for vouchers from partner organizations via QR code

  • Photo Uploads — upload photos as proof of event completion

  • Push Notifications — receive updates about events and achievements

  • Authentication — sign in via email or Google/Facebook

    • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via an in-app notification.

    4. User Accounts

    4.1 Registration

    To use most features you must create an account. You will provide:

  • First and last name

  • Valid email address

  • Date of birth

  • Password

  • Optionally: phone number, profile picture, bio

    • 4.2 Your Responsibilities

    You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep your password secure and confidential

  • Notify us immediately at youth@kutaisi.gov.ge if you suspect unauthorized access

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

  • Not share your credentials or create accounts on behalf of others

    • 4.3 Account Deletion

    You may delete your account at any time by emailing youth@kutaisi.gov.ge. We will process deletion within 30 days. Upon deletion you permanently lose all points, achievements, and unredeemed vouchers.

    We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or if required by law.

    5. Acceptable Use

    5.1 You agree NOT to:

  • Upload false, misleading, or fabricated information or photos

  • Post offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content

  • Impersonate any person or organization

    • System:

  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the App

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the App

  • Interfere with App functionality or other users

    • Fraud:

  • Falsify event participation or volunteer hours

  • Manipulate the points system

  • Fraudulently redeem vouchers

  • Register for events you do not intend to attend

  • Sell, trade, or transfer your account, points, or vouchers

    • 5.2 Consequences

    Violations may result in content removal, point deduction, account suspension, permanent termination, or legal action.

    6. Volunteer Points and Achievements

  • Points are awarded for verified event participation as confirmed by event organizers or administrators

  • Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to other users, or used outside the App

  • Points are forfeited upon account deletion

  • We reserve the right to adjust or remove points in cases of fraud or error

  • Achievement badges are awarded automatically based on participation milestones

    • 7. Vouchers and Partner Rewards

    7.1 Redemption

  • Vouchers are obtained by exchanging accumulated points within the App

  • Once points are exchanged for a voucher, the transaction is final and points cannot be refunded

  • Vouchers are redeemed at partner locations via QR code scan

  • Each voucher can only be redeemed once

  • Vouchers are non-transferable and linked to your account

    • 7.2 Partner Terms

  • Each voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing partner organization

  • Voucher expiration dates are set by individual partners and displayed in the App

  • We do not control partner availability, product quality, or service delivery

  • We are not liable for disputes between you and a partner — contact the partner directly, and if unresolved, contact us at youth@kutaisi.gov.ge

  • Partners may modify or discontinue their offers at any time

    • 7.3 Cancellation

    We may cancel vouchers obtained through fraud or policy violations. We may also cancel vouchers if a partner discontinues their offer, in which case the points will be refunded to your account.

    8. User Content

    8.1 What You Upload

    You may upload profile pictures, event completion photos, and a profile bio.

    8.2 Ownership and License

    You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use your content solely for operating the App and promoting volunteer activities in Kutaisi. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

    8.3 Your Warranties

    You confirm that:

  • You own or have the right to use all content you upload

  • You have consent from anyone identifiable in photos you upload

  • Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

    • 8.4 Content Removal

    We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms. To report inappropriate content, email youth@kutaisi.gov.ge.

    9. Intellectual Property

    The App, including its design, branding, code, and all content created by us, is owned by Kutaisi City Hall and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    "Voli" and related logos are the property of Kutaisi City Hall. You may not use our name or branding without prior written permission.

    We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the App.

    10. Third-Party Services

    The App integrates the following third-party services:

    Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their policies.

    11. Privacy

    Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy at https://kutaisi.xyz/privacy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the App you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

    12. Disclaimers

    THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

  • Accuracy of event information (events are organized by third parties)

  • Partner voucher availability

  • That the App will be free of viruses or security issues

    • Events are organized by third parties. We do not control event safety, quality, or content. You participate in events at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages during events.

    13. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by Georgian law, Kutaisi City Hall and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of points, vouchers, or data.

    Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

    14. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kutaisi City Hall, its officers and employees from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your violation of these Terms, your uploaded content, your event participation, or your violation of any applicable laws.

    15. Dispute Resolution

    Before taking formal action, contact us at youth@kutaisi.gov.ge to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 10 business days.

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the Kutaisi City Court, Georgia.

    16. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
